1967 Schwinn De Luxe Typhoon Bicycle This is a 1967 schwinn de luxe typhoon bicycle. This was purchased from the original owner (80+ years old) and he swore that if it was ridden once, that's all it was ridden! I have included pics fo the inside of the fenders and of the back of the chainguard.
No dirt, no grease, no wear! This biek is awesome. I rode it around the block and it rides like new. A few very tiny scratches in the stunning metallic blue paint from storage. One small dent in the rear fender under the rack which can be easily pushed out. Chrome is brilliant very shiny with extremely minro peppering. This should be easiyl taken care of with some 0000 steel wool. 26 x 1 3/4 original schwinn superior wihte wall tires are like new. Schwinn tubular s-7 rims are great and spin true. Evne the cad on the fender braces looks new. Equipped wiht a 2-way headlight/horn combo with high and low beams. Horn works nice and loud.
The only issue i have with this bike is a very minor one. The right side of the rear rack has larger than usual welds. Again, yuo have to look for them in order to notice them, but they are there. Aside from that, this bike is turly incredible! You would be hard pressed to find a nicer 41 year old bike. A true looker. I don't normally put reserves on my auctions, but this one is well worth the modest amount! Bid ot win. You won't be sorry! Thanks for looking!
