1969 Schwinn Sting Ray Runabout Campus Green Very NiceUp for grabs is a very nice 1969 (serial ce) schwinn sting-ray runabout. This one has much, if not all of its original equipment. Campus green in color, the paint is worn as you would expect from a 40 year old bike, but still shines nicely. Sturmey-archer 3-speed hub has '69' embossed in it, changes gears well, and gives off the distinctive 'tick tick tick' that sa hubs are known for. All decals are intact and ni very good shape. Green glitter grips in excellent shape. Chrome parts look nice and presentable there si some slight surface rust on the rims and crank arms, and slight dent/damage to the rear fender (see pics). Pedals (bow pedals? ) are in good condition. I believe the sadlde to be correct for the bike. Bike rides out well. Winning bidder agrees to pay $60 shipping charge-bike may be small, but it's got some heft to it. Bike can be picked up locally, or delivered locally for a small fee. Us bidders only.
