Relisted due to winning bidder backing out because 'did'nt read description please read before hitting the button, also i have had a flood of contact me if you dont get what yuo want, dont bother. Its a decent bike and will not be given away, thanks though! It either goes through the autcion or not at all.
Thats it. oN backdoor deals. Real nice bike for a collector to restore to mint condition or keep as is. This bike just needs the chrome cleaned up, cables replaced & new silkscreen & decals. Its all there and would be a good investment for any ibke collector. True its listed for restoration but its all there, i just dotn want to represent it as fully restored mint or things like that. 1971 schwinn grey ghost sting rya bicycle. Has original slick on abck and superior front tire, a little dry from last 4 decades. Bike was repainted with expensive correct paint. Chrome is decetn & has peppering. Bike has been stored indoors for a very long time. Seat ahs no holes and is original. Sissy bar shocks could ues cleaning up, the derailleur has usual scrapes and grease caked in the wheels. The stick shift and chain guard were nto redone, opted to leave alone. Teh speedometer is nice, the rear generator and light are decent but need cleaned up some. Kickstand is correct #365 for a disc bike, has usual rust and needs cleaned up. The oe pedals are small block type originals wiht clear lenses only 1 of the 4 lenses has a crack, could use cleaned up. The cables are most likely all replacements, they can be found and are not overly expensive. The bike, frame, crank and handlebar stem are correct, the handlebars are '72 & slightly bent, has new grips and brake handle covers. Rear wheel with disc setup is believed to be '72 also. Obviously this bike is not completely original but yuo could sell the rear wheel / disc setup and easily fund full restoration to full original. I have 1200.00 in it and just need to sell, shipping and handling with insurance is $90.00 conus usa only. (no alaska, hawaii, pr. Ect. Ect) fedex.
