Up for auction is a vintage 1976 raleigh chopper all original with a sturmey archer 3 speed console shift and front dyno hub. Thsi is the arrow wedge frame design. Also has a rear arck and a springer seat. Rear hub is marked 76. Has the original redline tire on the back but front tire has been replaced at some point. Bikes chrome on the handlebars and gooseneck is pitted and peeling, see pics, chrome on the back and the fenders are in good condition, decals will need replacing, and the paint has the normal wear and tear but is really crisp for its age. The gooseneck will need to be replaced, it is bent, but hte fork tube is not damaged, see pics, also the chainguard has bend in it. Seat has a small tear next to the bolt on the rh side.
Everything works, pedals, shifts and stops like it is supposed to. Please look at the pics closely before bidding. Bike si part of a recently bought out private st.
