30S Monark Roadmaster Rollfast Bicycle Light TankIt may be a prewar monark based on the chain ring or someone emailed me and said it aws a cleveland welding ( road master) or roll fast. I am not suer though. If anyone knows more abotu what it is i would like to hear from you. I'm more into 50s middle weights. The frame has been painted black adn there are no markings or head badge. There is a brass tag on the front fendre which i cleaned off but i can not read. I bought this from a young boy in high school. tI was his great grandfather's bike.
This must have been his custom ride. The bicycle actually irdes very well, the brakes work great. tI rolls well.
Nice and straight. Balloon tires a comfortable. The 54 schwinn tiger i have listed right now came from thsi old fellow too. The old light and the cord look like they are authentic. I believe hte lens is glass. It is probably a valuable light. The tank is obviously from somtehing else and is not correct. The red tires are nwe repops with the little horse shoes on the tread edge. hTe hub is a morrow. Skip tooth chain and rear facing drop outs.
Drop stand and kick standthe fenders are in good condition although they are painted with black paint. The front rim does not match the back rim. The front irm has several more drops in it than the back. There is a brass tag no the front fender. I cleaned the paint off but can't read anything. Truss rods.
This might be a good candidate for a restoration or it is a fun rat rod ride as it is. I can ship this to purto rico by parcel post for about $115the shipping calculator is accurate for the rest of the lower 48 states.
