Schwinn Panther Balloon Tire Bicycle26 schwinn panther that was restored a few years ago. Painted with ppg automotive paint, psrayed on, all white pinstriping is ppg paint (not tape). Then the bike was clear coated. Original frame, tank, carrier, truss rods, springer forks and rocket ray headlight. New departure hub. No horn in tank, no lock in locking fork. New schwinn classic crakn and sprocket, forged handlebar stem, hanlebar and hand grips, kick stand and fenders.
Panther/phantom pedals wiht as caps and upgraded pedal blocks(no reflectors) as were the originals. Chrome on origial parts is good but not perfect, original rocket ray headlight will require internal works ( it does't light up) and needs a new top cover clip.
Paint has a few small chips but it still looks great. Beautiful shine and has original style decals applied and clear coated over in the final spray. Schwinn typoon tire reproductions by coker tire co. Own a fine looking piece of bicycle history. Serial number 18882014523.
